Experience an unforgettable tour at Aquila Private Reserve: home to the Big 5. Follow that with a decadent wine tasting. We start with an early morning departure, so have your travel mugs ready. We’ll head up the N1 highway through the spectacular Hex River Valley.
We’ll get the tour started with a hearty, buffet-style breakfast then you’ll go on to join your safari. Your guide will share stories about the reserve and the incredible wildlife.
While there you can relax poolside, browse the curio shop, or visit the labyrinth. The bio-diverse habitat of the reserve ensures plenty to see. Hosts of birds make their home here and giraffes, hippos, and cheetahs roam free. Make sure you have your camera charged: you will not want to miss these fantastic animals. We’ll stop at Fairview Cheese and Wine for a pairing before heading home. This is a working farm and is home to a collection of micro-businesses. They share a common goal – to create artisanal and sustainable produce.
